Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they realized there was no going back. Ashley was only 17 and she had never been with a man before. They took the relationship very slowly. But it was truly love at first sight. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Eve, right as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew asked God for one final blessing that year: that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley would like to create the wedding with a rustic, folk theme which reflected her as well as Andrew. They combined a little bit of everything they loved for their big day. Ashley was raised in a 40-acre farm. The trail that they took across the fields they said "I do" in Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored the area multiple times before they began dating. Since the wedding was largely DIY, personalization played an important aspect. Andrew's father and Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony and arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley states that if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral had not created her stunning floral designs for us, the wedding may not have been as amazing feeling that I had hoped it would. The work is simply stunning.
